Great flier!

Well, 5 days and around 20 flights later I can say she's still in one piece and pretty spunky!
Today I lifted into 20 mph gusts for a white knuckled 7 min flight. I have noticed good rudder authority compared to other micro flyers like C.... umx.
In good winds be prepared to give it lots of gas into the wind. Great power on hand when needed for sure. I was doing a belly launch and snagged an aileron control arm and did some damage. It would be great if R&D could make some covers for these delicate components vital to those wing end control surfaces. I will note that I did fly two more batteries that day sans left aileron and she flew very well considering but there wasn't much wind that day.
Don't expect lots of gliding with this one as there is some drag and the props kind of act like air brakes when coasting...but thats totally fine with me as she is capable In many flight scenarios.
Inverted flight is a little scary, lots of throttle is required and she gets to wobbling a bit.
Loops and rolls all day long. There's some flex in the wings but they're so short it doesn't hinder too much.
Overall enjoying very much. Only line of sight for this bird..so far

I did craft some little triangular foam blocks just to the inboard side of the aileron control arms, on the underside of the wing..these extend down just slightly lower than the servo linkages so as to protect them on landings and sliding take offs

So Far....

I have no doubt this little bird (fish) will meet expectations. One of the motors needed reversing and there is no straight forward way to do this as the plug on the board is polarity sensitive so will only plug in one way. I ended up easing the pins out of the plug and swapping them this way. I almost didn't get the pin back into the plug I am surprised this hasn't happened to anyone else or, at least, they didn't talk online about it. The pin is weak in the plug now and will fail eventually. I feel there must be a way to program the reverse but just do not know.
