ATOMRC flyfish hlider

This thing is awesome. Small and compact it can fit anywhere. Takes off easy with a slit push forward while motors are at half throttle. Climb out is stable and predictable. Long flight times with the right pack. Its not much room for big pack, so nothing over 660mah 3s.

Atomrc Flying Fish

I have been flying rc for the past 40 years and I must say this ranks in the top 10 of aircraft that I have flown. I fitted it with HDZero HD system and it still flies excellent, as long as it's not too windy. The only negative is that I flew it on 4s from the beginning and burnt out the 2in1 esc that it comes with. I have since installed 2 separate esc's and it has worked flawlessly ever since. With all of that, I still purchased a2nd Flying Fish and will install INAV FC for full function Flying. Very impressed with this little aircraft. Thank you AtomRc for the quick and affordable shipping as well. Thx

Fun plane but has room for improvements

It's a really fun plane for a compact FPV setup but there are a few things to know about. I have mine setup with DJI O3 air unit and the F405 FC. It flies surprisingly well with that and I have flown up to 3km away and it has a flight time of about 10 minutes with 3S 850mah batteries.
The tail section is held in place with a screw that stick out at the bottom of it totally exposed. I once landed in not so perfectly smooth grass and it got a hold of the screw and ripped the whole tail section off as well as I broke one aileron servo horn... The servo horns are also exposed and fragile and if they ever make a new version of this plane I think they should have the aileron horns and servos sticking out of the upper side of the wing instead of below, same with the elevator servo horn.
I looked for spares, especially new servo horns but there are none here on this site. So I ended up buying a new plane and kept the old one for spares...
For the new one I glued some foam in front of the screw acting as a skid.
